Daniel Slane is an internationally recognized attorney with experience in relationships with the Far East as well as European governments. Mr. Daniel Slane is the founder and co-owner of The Slane Company, Ltd., which has developed, owned and operated over 90 shopping centers and related commercial developments in twelve states. The Slane Company also owned a telecommunication company (Slane Telcom), a furniture company (Eagle Furniture) and a lumber company (Prestige Wood Products).
He is currently the chairman of Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing, a non-profit company that works with private and public developers to create HUD low income, tax credit housing. His past endeavors extend from being an Intelligence Officer, a staff assistant to the President of the United States, to being on the Board of Trustees of numerous hospitals, banks, and universities. Mr. Slane has lectured at the State Department, the National War College in Washington, D.C. and has testified before Congress. He has also appeared on many of the top domestic and international television networks.
Mr. Slane received a BS in Business Administration in 1964, followed by his JD in Law from Ohio State University in 1967. He expanded his education by obtaining a Master’s Degree in International Law from the University of Amsterdam in 1970
Mr. Slane is a member of the Ohio Bar and a licensed real estate broker in both Ohio and West Virginia. He is also a Member of the Association of Former Intelligence Officers.
